For most of 2025, I’ve used this email to share updates about what’s happening at TwinPro, highlight important dates, and introduce the members of Team TwinPro. It’s been fun — but now that you’ve met the team, I need something new to share each month.
If there’s anything print- or graphics-related that you’d like to learn more about, just hit reply and let me know! I’ll feature your question in a future newsletter.
In the meantime, I’m going to start introducing you to the equipment we use and how it helps us work our magic and get things done.
TwinPro World HQ Happenings
It’s been a busy few months inside (and outside!) the building — but thankfully, many of these projects are wrapping up. Phew!
- Nikky & Vittoria moved into their new office
- The new warehouse racking for our web ordering business is finished
- Our prepress department has new desks and a fresh coat of paint
- The women’s change room and washrooms got an upgrade
- The pressroom has a new washroom
- The parking lot was almost completely repaved — goodbye potholes!
- New cabinets, countertops, and sinks are being installed in both kitchens next week
It’s exciting to see things coming together. The construction on the road out front is still stalled (and will be until next spring), but with the indoor work done, we’re feeling great. Come by and check it out while it still has that “new smell”!
The Road Ahead
If you’ve been following along with our updates, you’ve seen how we’re investing in both our team and our space. Along with that, I’ve been refining roles, formalizing our operational hierarchy, and getting our processes clearly documented.
All of this is part of our ongoing push to make TwinPro more effective, efficient, and — most importantly — a fun place to work. Kaizen, a.k.a. “The TwinPro Way,” is what we’re all about.
Diecut vs iCut
The technological advances in our industry are often out of sight and hard to explain. Until recently, the only way to cut shapes into paper was by creating a physical die — time-consuming and costly, especially for small runs.
Now, digital cutters can cut, crease, and perforate without a die. Earlier this year we added a Morgana SC7000T — officially an “Automatic Tangential Creasing Digital Die-Cutter,” but around here we just call it an iCutter. (Just… don’t tell Apple.)
